Claudia Rech was born on Ischia Island (NA) in 1984. At 12 she began writing thoughts and poems and during her adolescence she became passionate about photography.

She enjoys to travel and to collect experiences in several European cities, and thanks to that, she transitioned from photography to painting.

In her informal painting, the true protagonists are colours, movements and the soul journey that she wants to stimulate in the unconscious of those who observe the work.

Self-taught, her passion for uncommon art, continually pushes her to search for the infinite and not to confine herself to the simple rationality that reality imposes,but instead, it craves what the eyes cannot see, but which only the soul can.

In 2014 she had her first personal exhibition on the island of Ischia at Villa Arbusto in Lacco Ameno with “Il soffio dei colori”.

From that moment there have been various exhibitions both personal and collective, in Italy and abroad, until the very last participation at the Biennale of international contemporary art exhibition in Procida Island, appointed Capital of Italian culture in 2022.

She uses mixed techniques, brushes, spatulas and air tools, she works with water-based glazes.
